Green Dream Smoothie

If you’re anything like me, having a busy lifestyle can make it difficult to eat an adequate amount of vegetables each day. Here’s the solution: a smoothie packed with fiber, protein, and fat that tastes amazing!

Ingredients

  • 6-8 cups of Power Greens (you can find a 1.5 pound bag at Costco)

  • 1/4 cup of Flax or Chia Seeds

  • 1/4-1/2 cup frozen Mango (you can always try other fruit)

  • Water

Directions

  1. In a Vitamix (or another high-speed blender), fill the blender with Power Greens. Pack it in until it’s filled to 1-inch from the brim.

  2. Pour in the Seeds and Mango.

  3. Fill the blender with water until it’s 1-inch below the other ingredients.

  4. Start blending on low and slowly increase to the highest setting and keep it on high until completely blended smooth (usually around 30 seconds). 

  5. This recipe usually creates 1.5 quarts that you can drink over the course of an hour for a great substitute or addition to breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Enjoy!
