Strategies to Increase Willpower (Part 3)

Here is strategy #3 to increase your willpower. Give yourself a mini-goal. Start small.
Let’s imagine that you have a sink full of dishes to wash. What’s the hardest part of that process? Getting started and imagining how much work or time it will be...or how much back pain it might cause. ;)
Instead of imagining how difficult a goal, project, or task will be, tell yourself you’ll just do one small thing. Then, you will have created some momentum and accomplishment that will most likely keep you going through the completion of your task!
This is the same process as your daily workout. You begin with the smaller task of warming up, and then you’re ready to take on Part 1 and Part 2 of your WOD. Small steps over a long period can lead to incredible transformations, progress, and accomplishments.
