Dairy-Free Matcha Latte

Drinking matcha is a great way to support the immune system, as described in our post, “Ten Immune Boosting Strategies.” But the taste can resemble grass. So here’s a recipe to try that will hopefully make the taste more appealing.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups water
1 tsp matcha powder
2 tsp pure maple syrup or honey
1 tbsp collagen powder (Vital Proteins or Custom Collagen brand)
2 tbsp coconut cream
Optional: 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Directions
Heat the water in a kettle or on the stove top to boiling.
Place the rest of the ingredients into a mason jar or a Thermos with a wide opening.
Pour the hot water into a mason jar and blend until frothy with an immersion blender. Yum!
