Strategies to Increase Willpower (Part 5)
By Lydia Wallie, Nutrition Director
Here is strategy #5 to increase your willpower. Commit.
Sign up or pay for a kickstart, challenge, membership, or workout plan! Once you sign up for something, you’re committed. You can also add extra accountability by signing up with a spouse, friend, or another family member.
What’s something you can commit to and sign up for? Here are a few ideas:
Register to run a 5k and train for it
Meet with your neighbor to go on a 30-minute morning walk every Mon/Wed/Fri
Complete a 6-week no sugar challenge with your spouse
Join our Fall Nutrition Kickstart with 925 Strong
Sign up for your next week of CrossFit/LIFT workouts at 925 Strong a week in advance
Schedule a weekly meal planning day with your friend and go food shopping together
Sign up for a Nutrition Membership with 925 Strong to get on track with one nutrition habit at a time (examples: reducing or eliminating caffeine, sugar, gluten, or dairy)
Your next step: Decide one way you can commit to making your health better, one habit at a time.
