Ineffective antioxidant properties.

“We have identified no consistent evidence supporting the existence of an anticancer effect of ascorbate when given either orally, intravenously, or in combination to cancer patients. There is weak evidence that ascorbate given intravenously may improve the quality of life of cancer patients and reduce the toxicity of chemotherapy.
